Description

Crafted using traditional 19th century methods resulting in a very Alizarin rich pigment. It is derived from dye that has been extracted from the root of the madder plant and attached to alum as a base. It creates the beautiful rich pinkish shade that is one of the most lightfast plant-based pigments.
