This colour introduces a delightful pale greenish blue to the artist's palette. Comprising a blend of white, Phthalo Blue, and a touch of black, Australian Blue Gum possesses a subdued and gentle quality, evoking a sense of calmness.

When capturing the myriad colours in eucalyptus leaves, Australian Blue Gum serves as an excellent starting point. Mixing it with Yellow Oxide, Chromium Green Oxide, or Transparent Umber yields natural variations that mirror the changing hues with the time of day and weather. Additionally, Australian Blue Gum proves instrumental in depicting weathered wood, producing nuanced blueish and brownish grays when combined with Raw Umber or a touch of Ash Pink.
